Stefan Wallin Speaker

Advisor, Former Finnish Minister of Defense

Since 2021 Stefan is an independent entrepreneur in Public Affairs (Oy SEW Advisory Ab) with co-operation with Miltton Group Oy. Stefan has extensive experience in Finnish and Nordic politics. He was a Member of Parliament between 2007-19, Chair of the Swedish People's Party (lib.) 2006-12, and Government Minister for the Environment and Nordic cooperation 2007, Culture, Sports, Youth and Gender Equality 2007-11 and Minister for defence 2011-12. During his political career, Stefan had an impact in seven different Governments and seven different ministries.
Stefan served his last term in Parliament in 2015-19 as chair of SFP's parliamentary group, Member of Speaker's Council and chair for the Committee of the Future, that is specialized in anticipating sustainable- and technological development. Stefan holds a Master in Political Science, Åbo Akademi University.
